Many Foreign countries already recognize Shizuoka
as a Region of Promise
There are already 190 foreign companies in a wide range
of fields that have recognized the promise of Shizuoka
and are operating in the prefecture. They are not only
plants and laboratories but also branches, service centers
and distribution centers. Among these are facilities
of foreign companies, there are 54 major factories and
laboratories in Shizuoka.
